about us
modern motherhood, redefined.
Modern motherhood is evolving, and so are the spaces that support it. The Mom Collective at Paloma House brings women together through community, childcare, coworking, and wellness designed for the way moms live today. Itβs a place to connect, learn, create, and care for yourself; supported by thoughtful experiences and a community that understands real life.
Motherhood with intention. Modern support for every season.
Meet the Team
Sophie is a photographer, educator, and community-builder who cares deeply about connection and modern motherhood. Sheβs a first-time mom to Remy, wife to Travis, and has called St. Pete home since elementary school after moving from Scotland with her mom and sister.
Sophie started her career in education before rediscovering photography and turning it into a full-time way of telling storiesβespecially the real, messy, beautiful parts of family life. Becoming a mom showed her how much women need community, which sparked The Mom Collective.
Now, sheβs building Paloma House as a place for moms, families, and the St. Pete community to gather, work, rest, and feel supported. Warm, welcoming, modern motherhoodβthatβs the heart of her work.

Melissa Darr
Director of Operations
Melissa Darr is a St. Pete native, connector, and first-time mom who loves bringing people together. Sheβs married to Ryan, mom to Liam, and one of three sistersβso community has always been part of her life.
Melissa built a career in HR, helping people find jobs where they could truly feel at home. Motherhood made her even more passionate about creating real connection and support for women, which led her to help build The Mom Collective.
At Paloma House, Melissa brings her love of people, her welcoming energy, and her knack for thoughtful experiencesβfrom community events to friendly conversations over good coffee. She believes moms deserve a place that feels easy, supportive, and fun.
